Wordpress Camp Davao 2008 Update

Hello there, its quite long time that I’m not blogging but here I am again blogging on what happen to WordCamp Davao edition dated September 04, 2008 from 6:00pm-10pm. On the said day I and my fellow office mate are so excited to attend the said camp, so without further delay after off in the office we immediately go out and look for a ride going to the said place cause as i have said we are so excited on it.

After we arrived at the place where the said event was held, the feelings of excitement was more and more and myself continue asking if what’s really the program and activities to this said event. So after we settle down into our respective table, we wait just for a minutes and try to observed what things next to be happen. After a few short conversation while setting we found out that we are already hungry, but luckily the food was already there and ready to be served.

Eating, was the very first part of the program on that said event. You know i really really like the food that they served as our dinner, to tell you i am very happy while eating those delicious and nutritious food. We eat and we eat until we are finally stop cause our stomach was fully filled with all the delicious food. And also I noticed the place that it was very b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l with matching swimming poll. In short the food and the place was very satisfactory to me and I enjoy it very much.

So after we finish eating, me again was so very excited after I heard that Matthew Mullenweg, “Matt” for short was there. Matthew Mullenweg founding developer of WordPress, the blogging software that runs much of this site and thousands of other sites around the globe. As a second part of the program there was a blog presentation happen to those blogger who want to present their blog to the public and as a price of presenting some of them receive an official wordpress camp T-Shirt and many more. So after that presentation, Matt stand in front of us and talk about his life and also accepting some queries about Wordpress and also to his personal life and many more… Me and Matt

So to end up the said event everybody was given a time again to eat, have picture taking with matt and to have some short conversation to our fellow bloggers. And also i want to thank you Blogie for letting me to have this kind of opportunity, Henry for blogging this event, Ice for continue reminding me about this event . For your information Blogie is one of the active Organizer of this said event so again Blogie thank you very much.

Even though we’ve met Matt for a short time, I can say that he is a down to earth type of guy. He tries to talk to everyone if possible and you’ll never feel being intimidate. Same with Blogie too, I was so happy to be on that event. Hope there will be another one in the future.
